Retirement Horse Boarding - Small Herd Field Board

Our retirement packages offer the epitome of retirement luxury and peace of mind for those completely retired from riding. Small herds (2-4 horses) promote less injuries and ensure our caretakers know every horse and owner by name, providing personalized attention to each boarder. This is the best in a hands-off care package so you don't have to worry about a thing! All routine preventative veterinary and farrier care is included as stated below. We offer contracts on a month-to-month basis.

Standard Retirement Package

$500 p/mo p/horse

Full care includes: 

 

  • 24/7 Turnout on Pasture w/Shelter
  • Forage Diet & Winter Hay
  • Spring & Fall Wellness Exams 
  • Annual Vaccinations - EWT, WNV, PHF, Rabies, Flu, Rhino 
  • Dental Float, 1x per year
  • Sheath/Udder Cleaning
  • Barefoot Farrier Trims, approx. 6x per year  
  • Parasite Evaluation, 2x per year
  • Deworming, rotational   
  • Daily Body Check
  • Private Google Photos Album


No grain. The fee for administering supplements, medications and/or blankets is assessed on an individual basis.

Premium Retirement Package

$800 p/mo p/horse

Full care includes: 

 

  • Standard Package +
  • TCF Grain Provided & Administered
  • Supplement Administration - must use Smartpaks or other pre-portioned units
  • Medication Administration (pill or powder)
  • Blanketing
  • Lyme vaccine, 2x per year, if requested
  • Access to 1 stall when needed


Supplements, medications, and blankets must be provided by client. Please note we do not blanket our horses unless extreme conditions are present. All of our residents are unclipped on 24/7 turnout with access to shelter year-round.


Performance Horse Boarding - Stall & Field Board

Monthly care for your beloved animals. Prices below include grain and hay. Fee for administering supplements, medications, and blankets is assessed on an individual basis. Boarders are encouraged to get on our veterinary and farrier schedules to ensure vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and farrier visits remain updated. Cost for vet/farrier care/hold is not included. Fetching, grooming, and tacking/untacking is also not included. We offer contracts on a month-to-month basis.

Full Care Stall Board

$850 p/mo

Daily nutrition tailored to your horse's needs. Seasonal turnout morning or evening, 8-12 hours in stall, if preferred. Otherwise, the stall is dedicated to you, but the horse can live out 24/7! Generous 10' x 12' double Dutch door stalls available with premium fine shavings over rubber mats. Each stall has two water buckets (1 heated in winter) and a corner stall feeder with slots for grain, hay, and salt. 2-4 flakes grass hay 1x per day included. Use of all facilities included. 

Full Care Field Board

$550 p/mo

We'll still take care of everything! 24/7 turnout on a pasture with shelter in a small herd. Use of all facilities is included. Winter hay only. 


Horse Boarding - Dry Lot

Monthly care for IR/EMS horses. Prices below include grain and year-round portioned hay. Fee for administering supplements, medications, and blankets is assessed on an individual basis. Boarders are encouraged to get on our veterinary and farrier schedules to ensure vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating, and farrier visits remain updated. Cost for vet/farrier care is not included. Fetching, grooming, and tacking/untacking is also not included. We offer contracts on a month-to-month basis.

Full Care Dry Board

$850 p/mo

We'll take care of everything - daily nutrition tailored to your horse's needs and periodic/timed turnout, if requested seasonally. 90' x 40' dry lot recently renovated with blue stone, two 16 gallon water buckets (heated in winter), and a 10x16 run-in shed with water, electric, lights, and fans. Doubles as a wash stall. Use of all facilities is included.  


Additional Services

Below is a list of services that are not included in our board packages. Prices subject to change. Each service will be an additional charge on boarder's monthly invoice.

Health

  • Specialty Grains/Feeds - cost will be assessed on an individual basis 
  • Administering Shots or Non-Routine Medication - $25 per incident, per medication
  • Ulcer Treatment or Other Complex Conditions - assessed on individual basis
  • Wound Treatment (includes supplies) - $20 per incident
  • Hoof Soaking/Wrapping (includes supplies) - $30 per incident
  • Stall Rest - $12/day (plus board cost) 
  • Farrier or Vet Hold -  $20 per hour, per horse
  • Trim (Bridle Path, Fetlocks, Whiskers) - $10 per incident

Miscellaneous

  • Trailer Parking - $50 per month
  • Ride Prep - $10 per incident - fetch, groom, tack up - rider must untack and turnout or additional $10 with scheduled return time
  • Lunging - $25 per 30-minute session
  • Exercise Ride - $40 per hour 
  • Training Ride - $60-125 per hour, depends on the trainer for experience/discipline req.
  • Pay-Per-Ride - $50 per hour, arena only
  • Guided Trail Ride - $125 per ride - 1-2 hours, average 1.5 hrs.
  • Transportation - $1.50/mile, $150 minimum


Overnight Boarding - Horse Hotel

Daily boarding for traveling visitors. Think of us like your dog kennel for horses while visiting for a competition, horse show, RV trip, or even a wine weekend.

Self-Care Overnight Board

$50 p/night p/horse

Includes one bedded stall with fine pine shavings that has access to a small paddock off the stall door if turnout is desired. You provide the grain and hay and administer feedings. Must strip stall when finished. 

Full-Service Overnight Board

$80 p/night p/horse

Includes one bedded stall with fine pine shavings that has access to a small paddock off the stall door if turnout is desired. You provide the grain and hay, but we administer it. Rotational turnout if other guests/unfamiliar horses are staying as well. We'll take care of the stall stripping at the end of your stay so you don't have to worry about a thing! 


Horses for Lease

Not quite ready to own your very own horse? Lease one of ours! Options are flexible - we offer contracts on a month-to-month basis, but prefer a long-term commitment for horse and rider bonding - 10% discount with 12-month contract. We maintain ownership of the horse and responsibility for all care and costs. Note: our tack is available for use as it fits our horses, but we cannot guarantee a perfect fit for riders. Lessees may try their own tack, but must fit our horses to prevent injury.

Full Lease

$650 p/mo

A specific horse is chosen. Lessee may ride up to 5 days per week - includes 1 weekend day only.  A riding schedule must be arranged in advance. Competition horses $50 p/mo extra.  

Half Lease

$500 p/mo

A specific horse is chosen. Lessee may ride up to 3 days per week - includes 1 weekend day only.  A riding schedule must be arranged in advance.  

Quarter Lease

$350 p/mo

A specific horse is chosen. Lessee may ride up to 2 days per week - may not include a weekend day, depending upon availability.  A riding schedule must be arranged in advance.
